hey uhm i kinda new to this but liek the website sends stickers and fliers right?

i live just out side of albany, and my town is filled with skaters. my self being one of them. five spots shouldnt be difficult. given i gets some stickers or something to that effect .

i live in a city of evil with my fallen brothers and sisters. life is good. we'rea little low on skate shops but strawberies and all the stores in that plaza have been avenged.

i still havnt gotten anything in the mail or whatever and now i sound stupid how do you get stickers and posters and stuff HOW HOW HOW its kinda hard to promote the band if you dont get anything in the mail do you have to pay really??

its hard to promote the band without the stuff do we get it sent to us or do we buy it or do we have to use makeshift fliers? coz the makeshift fliers arnt very effective

Dude, I'm a skater, so I know all the local spots, people who work at the shops, the skateparks and the kids who go to the skateparks, but how do I get the stuff? Do you have to pay for it?

yea kinda a continuum.. how do you get stuff?? i should have gotten my stickers and posters and stuff by now right?? i have a few stickers cuz my friend is on the street team and he gives me some.. actually just yesterday we were together putting up a7x stuff. but yea i want some stickers and other stuff so i can do it too!!

hey i need some a7x stuff to be mailed to me so i can go around and promote the band.

So i totally got this one covered lol
i posted posters and stickers all over the local skatepark and i went to another skatepark further down the road, closer to dallas and did the same thing...
and i hit all the skate shops...like Zumiez at 2 different malls in the area and gave them a CRAP LOAD of flyers and stickers to give out...
i have the pics with the ones im sending in for the meet and greet mission...
and im TOTALLY having fun!
who would have known that promoting for Avenged would be so much fun haha
i hope i get to go backstage!! :D

Im am going to the show in Corpus Christi Texas 11-30-07. Its about 12 of us. We are promoting left and right and we play the music at work. We will put up posters hand out stickers and cds to make sure people from south texas understand why your music kicks everyone elses ASS!!!

are we going to be SENT stickers and flyers and all that?

i left flyers in the music magazines at the airport gift shops i work for, a pile at a music store, and....in the big y bathroom. hey, it's something.

So wait for this mission are we supposed to make our own flyers and things or are they going to send stuff out? I'm such a nube! I've only ever help my friend with her favorite band's street team (kill hannah) and they/ we did both. I really wanna raise the number of fans in Florida; I dunno it feels like everyone's forgotten about A7X since "City of Evil"! :(

i've sent emails before about promotional items to hand out i guess they cant afford to cover the costs of sending stuff out here.

so i just made my own flyers/leaflets like everyone else seems to have done DO IT ITS NOT THAT EXPENSIVE TO CREATE YOU'RE OWN.

they also suck for not replying to my emails lol :P...

Yes, it does take forever and a day for the people on the street network to get back to you, but if you're willing to wait they have some great things. My advice is to go ahead and design a flyer that looks good in black and white, that way they're cheap to make. Get them done small, about 3x5, so people can put them in their pockets and they fit nicely under peoples windshield wipers.
I'm a veteran..I know these things.

I would recommend signing up on the street network to get supplies too. You create a username and login, then you sign up to be on the avenged sevenfold street team. They send you the same supplies that this site does. The people who run it will send you stuff... It just may take them a couple weeks to get it to you because since promo for avenged just started, there's A LOT of people signing up so you just have to be patient.

However Syryn is right. There are such people that are called Field Marketing Reps, these people are employees of Warner Bros. and are responsible to flyering shows, putting up posters, etc. These people are good people to work with, and if you are in an area where you can meet up to do missions with a rep it's a good idea and can be a lot of fun

However there isn't going to be an FMR in all of your cities. So I would suggest double teaming it. Sign up on the street network and depending on your city you may be able to find an FMR.

What I've been doing for years now is just making Flyers and stickers myself. BUT, recently I've found that if you get in contact with one of the Warner Brothers FMR's, through the Street Network or something, they can actually have stuff sent to you. It's a little tricky and you just have to hunt these people down, but it is doable.
