It's kind of funny to wake up and see the words Avenged Sevenfold at the #4 spot on the billboard top 200. Right next to The Eagles and a Britney/Carrie Underwood threesome. I don't know about you but it puts a smirk on my face just knowing that our fans tattooed it right on the foreheads of everyone who would quickly disregard the name Avenged Sevenfold (like we aren't a fucking force to be reckoned with, Haha). So once again thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
MTV has decided to debut our video for almost easy on TRL which makes me believe that someone over at MTV is screaming for something real. I'll be honest with you, when I roll out of bed every morning my goal in life isn't to be alongside popstars or actors and actresses or on the cover of the national enquirer. I am sorry but this won't fucking due. Last week A7X was at the # 4 position and it was great to see rock on top over all these little bitches, country shit and pop artists. I just checked. They are in 29th now and that my friends will simply not do. You have to tell everyone and anyone you know to go out and buy this new album for 2 reasons. 1) It fucking kicks ass and 2) It is A7X...that don't need any other fucking reason.
The NYC show was fucking insane. Black Tide & Confession were great. Operator sucked so much ass, but then A7X came on and I still have no hearing in my left ear and it was worth every second on it.

Honestly, I wouldn't let my mom headbang to any band other than Avenged Sevenfold. These guys are the definition of awesome. A7X is what most bands wish they could be. It is not the band that should be thanking us, but us that should be thanking them. A7X brings a fresh perspective to rock music that was much needed.So, here's to Avenged sevenfold and the music!

I'm glad that everyone came out in support of the CD to show that the appetite for real balls to the wall, bang your head, drink a beer rock music is there and desires to be fed. Guitar World had it right that you guys ARE the next great American rock band. You have brought fun back to the music, and this album demonstrates that. Rock music is supposed to be about excess and decadence....it is supposed to be fun. Thank you so much for your hard work on this album, you constantly remind me over and over again as to why you are my FAVORITE band!! I love you guys and I can't wait to see you this weekend in Myrtle Beach SC. Deathbat 4 life!

That was my first time ever in general admission for you guys (I've only been in General Admission one other concert and it wasn't a wild one like this was).
Ummm I dunno if he gave it to you but I gave Jason a note for you guys :) I was wearing like 20 different Avenged things and the sad thing was all but 3 of the items I was wearing BEFORE I found out I was going to the concert. Cuz I only found out I was going at like 4 p.m. My friends Meghan and Ross won the Meet and Greet lol I dunno why you would wanna know that but -shrugs- I felt like telling you lol.
Haha my voice is pretty shot like I keep squeaking and what not and that's cuz I kept shouting constantly when you were on. Hey is Black Tide and The Confession gonna be at the next venue with you? Cuz they were AMAZING.
No offense to them but I wasn't very found of Operator. Although they're bassist was pretty cool.
Ummm so yeah you guys were amazing, it kinda sucked that I didn't get any of your picks cuz my friend has Johnny's and likes to tease me with it.
I DID get a pick from Operator's guitarist (the one with the long black hair) and I got Zacky from Black Tide's cuz I ended up buying the cd and I asked if he had any spares cuz I really wanted one and he gave me his last one.

I Got Arrested
I actually got arrested a few days ago for refusing to turn down the new album. I live in a fucking hillbilly town where they listen to country shit and inbreeding ACTUALLY takes place that is super religious. So, I was at my house rocking out to the new A7X album when I got a knock on my door from my neighbor telling me to turn down my "devil music." So I went back inside and turned it up even louder. 20 minutes later cops were at my door telling me to turn it down. I refused stating that I was in my house, during the day no less and I could do whatever the fuck I wanted. They said I was disturbing the peace of the community. I told them to go tell all the religious hillbilly fucks to get alife and leave me the fuck alone. I proceeded to slam the door in their face and turned it up even louder. They knocked on the door again and arrested me for disturbing the peace. I got bailed out by my friend for like 100 bucks, but I find the whole thing rather funny. I went home and my neighbor had the look on her face as if to say "You are evil and I am God's instrument to cleanse your soul." I looked at her, went inside, opened all my windows and blasted it even louder then ever before. That is my experience with the new A7X Album.
P.S. - Really hoping to meet you guys at the NYC show at the Hammerstein Ballroom this Wednesday. I was told by 2 of my friends that if I don't get autographs from you guys, I am not allowed to come home, so if it is in your power, I would really appreciate it. I'll be getting in line at Hammerstein around 4 pm and will wait as long after the show in the pouring freezing rain as I have too. After all, I got arrested for you guys.

With my current health situation, even if they put me in prison, it wouldn't be that big deal to me, but to put me in jail for listening to the new A7X album too loud in a highly Christian community...I find funny as hell.
